When the clock struck midnight on January 1, 2015 I had a beer in my hand and plenty of resolutions on my mind. Chief among these goals was developing a grown up wardrobe stocked with tailored staples and playful stand outs. I wanted my clothing to speak to my style, professionalism, and personal growth. Cut to May and I've realized this goal has gotten a little muddled. Many times when I shop, I get distracted by all the newness in the store and forget that I'm supposed to be looking for pieces that stand the test of time. Like with most resolutions, it was time I refocused. I started with my personal style addiction - the blazer. This Tahari ASL piece puts a modern spin on my favorite classic by lengthening the hem and loosing the sleeves. The clean lines make it easy to pair with dresses, trousers, even a dressy short for summer.
Blouse: Vince Camuto. Blazer: Tahari ASL. Ankle pants: Gibson & Latimer. Shoes: Lucky Brand. Bag: Target. Sunnies: Loft.
**Side note: those sequined Lucky flats were so comfy. Like walking on clouds - I highly recommend them. Available at Dillards!**
